Tá muid ar ais le mí anuas anois ag an scoil agus tá súil againn go bhfuil gach duine socraithe isteach agus ag obair le chéile.
Ár mbuíochas daoibh as tacú le heiteas na scoile maidir le cúrsaí Gaeilge. Ar ndóigh tá sé fíorthábhachtach do na páistí go mbainfear úsáid as chuile dheis chun an teanga a chleachtadh taobh istigh agus taobh amuigh den scoil. Tá sé mar aidhm againn go mbeidh na páistí dhá-theangach faoin am go bhfágann siad an scoil i Rang a Sé.
Más féidir libh iad a ghríosadh agus a mholadh ó thaobh na Gaeilge de cabhróidh sé go mór le foghlaim na bpáistí ar an iomlán sna hábhair eile scoile.
Fáiltíonn muid i gcónaí roimh “an cúpla focal” ó thuismitheoirí m.sh. “Slán”, “Go raibh maith agat”, “Gabh mo leithscéal”, “Maidin mhaith”, “Ádh mór” agus na frásaí beaga gur féidir a fháil sa Dialann Scoláire atá ag na páistí. Ní neart go cur le chéíle mar a deir an seanfhocal agus is cinnte go mbeidh éifeacht mhór má dhéanann gach duine iarracht!
We are back at school for just over a month now and we hope that everyone has settled into school routine at his stage.
We would like to thank you, the parents, for your support for the school Ethos in relation to “An Ghaeilge”. Indeed, it is of the utmost importance to the children that every opportunity to use the language is utilised to its full potential both within the school environs and also without. It is our aim that the children are bilingual by the time they leave school at the end of Rang 6.
Your encouragement, support and praise in relation to the use the language at every opportunity will help greatly in your child’s learning and education in all subjects.
We welcome always the cúpla focal e.g “Slán”, “Go raibh maith agat”, “Gabh mo leithscéal”, “Maidin mhaith”, “Ádh mór” etc. These and other short phrases can be found in the children’s Dialann Scoláire.
